We represent community associations in general counsel matters, including advice on the day-to-day administration of association business and, when necessary, prosecuting or defending legal actions on behalf of our association clients.

Construction Defect Litigation
We represent individuals and businesses in a wide variety of matters involving construction defects and other construction matters. We are experienced in managing and prosecuting complex multi-party construction defect litigation.

Construction Law
We represent owners and contractors in the preparation of construction contracts and in handling the myriad of disputes and challenges that may arise in the course of a construction project.

Our corporate practice includes acting as outside general counsel to corporations, LLC's and partnerships in varying industries. We have a small, dedicated criminal law practice representing clients in Marin County in a variety of matters.

Employment Law
We represent businesses in labor disputes, employee wage and hour claims, and FEHA/wrongful termination cases, and also provide general counseling services regarding employee practices and procedures.

Estate Planning / Trust Administration / Probate / Taxation
We provide estate planning, trust administration and probate services to our clients. One of our partners, Richard Franceschini, is also a licensed Certified Public Accountant.

Municipal Law
Ragghianti Freitas LLP has a long history of local agency representation as well as private client land use entitlement and litigation practice. For more than 30 years Gary Ragghianti has represented Marin County cities and towns as well as special districts, including Belvedere, Tiburon, Corte Madera, and San Rafael, where he served as its elected City Attorney from 1984 until 2007. Robert Epstein currently serves as the Attorney for the City of Belvedere and Town of San Anselmo. Mr. Epstein was elected City Attorney of San Rafael in 2007.

Real Estate
Our real estate practice includes representing residential and commercial landowners in resolving disputes, prosecuting and defending lawsuits relating to property use, boundary issues, non disclosures, and defects in title.

Trust and Estate Litigation
We have considerable experience representing both individuals and administrators with regard to probate and trust disputes.
