November 2011

Sarah Leger has joined the Board of Directors of Legal Aid of Marin, a non-profit organization committed to providing access to the civil justice system through quality legal services to vulnerable and otherwise underserved residents of Marin County.

In October of 2011, Partner Dave Feingold presented a program at the annual MCBA CLE Fair entitled “25 Tips for the New and Not so New Lawyer from MCBA Past Presidents,” along with the Honorable Michael Dufficy (Ret.) and Lawrence Baskin, Esq.

September 2011

In September of 2011, Dave Feingold served as guest editor for the California Association of Community Managers Fall Law Journal, and authored an article on legal issues related to common interest development, and email membership lists and e mails.  The CACM Law Journal is distributed state wide to over 2500 community managers.

February 2011

In January of 2011 Partner Dave Feingold presented a program on Conflict Resolution for Community Managers at the annual CACM Law Seminar at the Disneyland Convention Center in Anaheim, and at the Oakland Convention Center in Oakland.  The two seminars were attended by over 1200 community managers, representing thousands of homeowners associations throughout California.  Mr. Feingold also presented a Case Law and Legislative update on new common interest development laws at the regional ECHO law seminar in San Rafael in February.

November 2010

Herb Rowland and Sarah Leger won a defense verdict in a San Anselmo landslide case.

Sarah Leger was selected for inclusion in Northern California Super Lawyers magazine as a "Rising Star" for 2010.

Riley Hurd was featured in The New York Times for his handling of a land use matter involving a Bolinas development.

June 2010

Herb Rowland won a defense verdict in Marin County Superior Court for the City of Mill Valley in a landslide case. 

Dave Feingold and Sarah Leger won an anti-SLAPP motion in Marin Superior Court, and an award of attorney's fees for their clients, in a case involving a coastal development in which a group of owners was sued for exercising their free speech rights.
