Riley F. Hurd III
Riley F. Hurd III was born and raised in Marin County, California. After attending St. Ignatius High School, Mr. Hurd obtained a degree in Environmental Policy and Analysis Planning from the University of California at Davis. He obtained his Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, where he was a member of the Pace National Environmental Moot Court Team.
Mr. Hurd currently serves as the Deputy City Attorney for both the City of Belvedere and the Town of San Anselmo. In addition to his municipal work, he represents developers and private landowners in land use and litigation matters. Additionally, Mr. Hurd serves as outside general counsel for companies located throughout the State.
Prior to joining Ragghianti Freitas, Mr. Hurd practiced all aspects of litigation in Orange County, California. Mr. Hurd has successfully completed the OCBA College of Trial Advocacy program as well as the ABOTA Masters in Trial program.
