David F. Feingold
Dave Feingold has been in practice since 1986. The majority of his practice is devoted to representing community associations and homeowners in construction and real estate related issues. He also enjoys serving as a mediator and is known for his tenaciousness in exhausting all possible avenues of resolution for parties locked in dispute.
Mr. Feingold has frequently published articles in industry journals and has been a lecturer and presenter at legal seminars state wide dealing with real estate matters and common interest developments.
Mr. Feingold is committed to serving clients in a comprehensive manner, and carefully performs a cost/benefit analysis from the client's perspective before taking on any representation. He uses modern dispute resolution techniques to avoid costly litigation whenever possible.
He has recovered millions of dollars for his clients in construction defect actions and arbitrations, including in 2007, settlements of $5.0 million for a 68 unit condominium association, $2.5 million for a commercial warehouse owner, $1.5 million for a single family homeowner, and two arbitrations to successful awards.
Mr. Feingold served on the Board of Directors of the Marin County Bar Association for several years, and led the 800 member Association as its President in 2003.
Mr. Feingold also served his community as a reserve police officer with the San Rafael Police Department from 1999-2008.
In 2009, Mr. Feingold was again named as a Northern California "Super Lawyer," which is a designation awarded to the top 5% of attorneys in Northern California.
